ASPARI EVENT
ASPARI EVENT
The Asia Pacific Research Institute annually holds several events directly related to its primary objective, which is to accelerate the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The programs implemented vary by member country. Specifically, in Indonesia, there are four regular events held annually:
1. The Nusantara Cultural Festival (NuCulFest) is an annual Indonesian cultural event involving students from junior high schools, high schools, universities, and even the general public throughout Indonesia in various cultural-themed competitions. The goal is to preserve the archipelago's cultural heritage, ensure its ownership, development, and preservation by all levels of Indonesian society. This event is held routinely twice a year: in June (in conjunction with the ASPARI International Symposium) and in December (in conjunction with the ASPARI International Conference).
2. The Asia Pacific Writing & Poetry Competition is a cross-border international event involving participants from 24 ASPARI Member Countries. ASPARI researchers serve as judges, conducting a writing competition themed on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), with the outcome being the creation of an International Book Chapter (all participants' work is published in book form). This event is held routinely twice a year: in June (in conjunction with the ASPARI International Symposium) and in December (in conjunction with the ASPARI International Conference).
3. The International Conference is held at the end of each year, taking place in either Jakarta or Bali. This activity invites all researchers from the 24 participating countries to present programs to accelerate the implementation of the SDGs in their respective countries and evaluate them.
4. Public Discussions are held 5-12 times a year, both online and offline, discussing efforts to accelerate the implementation of SDGs. The implementation of the SDGs program in Indonesia. This activity involved various parties/stakeholders, including those from the government, private sector, universities, community organizations, and the general public. The output of this discussion can be used as a book (reference/monograph).
