SDGs 3 (Good Health and Well-Being) is a global goal to ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages. This goal focuses not only on curing disease but also on preventing unnecessary suffering. Its main focuses include:

1. Maternal and Child Health: Reduce the maternal mortality ratio to less than 70 per 100,000 live births by 2030.

2. Communicable and Non-Communicable Diseases: Combat diseases such as AIDS, tuberculosis, and malaria, and reduce premature deaths from non-communicable diseases through prevention and treatment.

3. Universal Health Coverage (UHC): Ensure all people have access to quality health services, including safe and affordable medicines and vaccines.

4. Mental Health: Recognize mental health as a core component of overall well-being.

Indonesia is accelerating its Health Transformation program, which encompasses six main pillars:

1. Primary Care Pillar: Strengthening community health centers (Puskesmas) and integrated health posts (Posyandu) through village-level health programs for early detection and healthy lifestyle education.

2. Referral Services Pillar: Improving access and quality of hospitals in all remote areas.

3. Health Resilience Pillar: Accelerating domestic production of medical devices and medicines and improving preparedness for health emergencies.

4. Health Financing Pillar: Optimizing the National Health Insurance (JKN) through BPJS Kesehatan to make it more inclusive, including for indigenous communities and vulnerable groups without legal identity.

5. Health Human Resources Pillar: Accelerating the provision of a uniform number of specialist doctors and healthcare workers throughout Indonesia.

6. Health Technology Pillar: Digitizing health data (such as the integration of SatuSehat) to facilitate real-time monitoring of health indicators.

The government also adopted the theme "Healthy Generation, Great Future" to meet the Healthy Indonesia 2025 target, with a focus on resilient physical and mental health.
