The Asia Pacific Research Institute for Sustainable Development Goals is an independent private research institute that aims to accelerate the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals program in Asia Pacific countries and even throughout the world. This institute was founded in 2015 when the SDGs Program was established by the United Nations. This institute contains researchers from all Asia Pacific countries and in its current development, several researchers from European and American countries have joined. To date, this institute has 86 researchers from 24 countries such as Indonesia, Singapore, the Philippines, Vietnam, Malaysia, Laos, Myanmar, Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Timor Leste, Thailand, Japan, South Korea, China, Hong Kong, Australia, New Zealand, the United States, Canada, the Netherlands, Germany, France, Belgium, and Italy.
